Direct, Wrench, and Hra are harnesses for different surfaces. They share an author and a factory, so the three names read like one product. They are three products. Direct owns application state. Wrench owns attested web operations. Hra owns multi-subscription Codex parallelism.
Direct sits below the interface. A browser tool still clicks, types, and inspects. Direct names the world those actions happen in: a signed-in account, an empty list, or a failure that would take longer to arrange than the page takes to review. The live page is a general harness for repeatable app states. It does not drive the browser. It makes the state behind the page cheap to reach again.
Wrench sits on the public web. It turns a URL into inspectable Markdown, archives one finite media item with integrity evidence, and publishes which provider operations a session can call on purpose. The Wrench provider capabilities table attests those operations. A missing or capture-required operation stays unavailable. The session does not fall back to a general scraper and pretend the contract was proven.
Hra sits above Codex. It keeps several authorized subscriptions in motion, divides work into parent and child tasks, and recovers the work after a window dies. That loop is coordination around many Codex sessions. Headlong's always-on loop is a different job: one named agent that keeps thinking between messages. Hra's published fit is several isolated accounts attached to one review path.
